Chef Scott Safford brings passion and innovation to every event that he caters. To Scott, God is in the details, a belief which inspires him to prepare everything from scratch. As such, he not only prepares his own marinades, tapas and entrees, but he even smokes his own salmon and prepares his own chutneys. It is this passion for overseeing every detail of his craft which has made him the darling of clients from The Cliffs to Biltmore Forest.
Scott's training began at
The Grove Park Inn where he began as a chef's apprentice. It was at The Richmond Hill Inn where he prepared the enticing dishes
at Gabrielle's. At Magnolias he achieved his mastery of the grill and the raw bar. Now as a caterer and personal chef he brings his wealth of experience and infectious enthusiasm to special events across western North Carolina.
Scott's menus utilize the freshest seasonal foods available, including organic and vegetarian fare. He is happy to accommodate clients' dietary needs with originality and delectable results – his goal ia always perfection.
